I’d be interested, as long as it isn’t raining too hard—faces to names and all that. Edit: Second vaccination scheduled for the week after next, so ideally a week or two after that I suppose?—not especially keen on close-up socialising during normal times come to think of it.

That is weird as I could have said it was a McDonald's for alot later than 06.

I'd be in for a day tagging but I am s---l-----o------w, so most likely I'll start off keen, keep up for the first tag or two, then lose everyone until the post-tag beers.

I used to live just around the corner from Zain's Hairdressers, aka Zans Hairderss.
I guess you could claim that for whichever language the name comes from, 'Zan' is a possible way of transliterating it, but 'hairderss' is probably impossible to explain given that the shop isn't in Dalston.
A couple of other Zain's Hairdressers around, one in Francis Road in Leyton, one in Romford Road, so maybe just trying to be distinctive. :)

Thanks for posting, Backstop, Dibble, aglet, and brokenbetty, and sorry you're not keen, Will, but I obviously knew that it wasn't likely to appeal to you. Normal tagging wouldn't be suspended on the day, of course, so there'd be something for everyone. I guess this one would be more for the BToB Ride of Ride/Taggy Cat crowd.

Previous organisers: @KT_Bee (who may not be able to make it because of KT_Baybee), @Katie-coo, @LongAndWinding, and probably loads of others who only became involved more as the threads went on.

Can each team not have people at home to act as a searcher and dispatcher?

I’d love to be involved. @LongAndWinding organised taggy cat, which was a bit more off an alley cat, as I recall we each went and got a tag, reconvened at LMNH and then had to go and find the others. We also did a few nighttime rides of our favourite tags and @oat44 and I did a ride incorporating some underground tags. Am sure there are lots of different ways of cutting it to make more socially distanced for those who’d prefer. Should we take it to another thread so as not to disturb the flow?

Great! I'll start one.

I've started playing https://www.geoguessr.com/free after watching Geowizard on YouTube, which I think BTOBers could also find very addictive. Also, Geotastic, which is free. Basically, you get a random google street view spot and have to guess where in the world it is and get points for how close you get. It's a bit btob-ish, but without bikes and covers the whole world.

Well, I didn't mean to kill this thread by starting the other one, so this is still the current tag:

Some clues in the posts following it, and lots of people have worked it out, but for some completely strange reason, no-one's gone there yet. :)

Thanks @Oliver Schick - here's another clue as it's still open -
The [P]erfect solution to a legal/branding issue
@Ruserius - played a bit of that yesterday, good fun. Was very proud to identify some random set of houses as Greenland.

Good tag.
ETA - I've walked past the chicken shop a million times. Never once have I clocked the spelling mistake. -

Ha, and I didn't notice the maccyd's round the corner was no longer a maccyd's.
Good to see that the usual thing of me going to get a tag means I get tagzumped.
I’m up for a days tagging
