I had my second dose of AstraZeneca/Oxford on Tuesday morning. Slight fever that night; intense dreams induced by the first substituted by a headache starting in the evening—1/5 on the hangover scale, much like a hangover it was ameliorated with paracetamol and a sugary cup of tea. The morning after, it started feeling like I’d properly bashed my arm a couple of days ago but without any cool technicolour bruising. The fever didn’t last until the next morning, and the sore arm is gradually feeling better a couple of days later. B+ would vaccinate again, roll on the autumn boosters.
My son [edit: 18] has had his first Pfizer, he had a headache the next day but no other ill-effects.
