  • Any suggestions for baggy/casual style shorts that will last a while and not cost the earth?

I've been wearing h&m chino shorts and cut off chino trousers but they last like 6 months and then are worn through. They are only 15 or 20 quid though so while I'm looking for something longer lasting I don't want to pay three figures for something I'm only going to get 10 or 12 months out of.

I've a set of Endura Humvee 3/4 that seem pretty indestructible so I'm going to try the Humvee Chino short.

Most of what's out there seems to be aimed at mtbers, I want something that'll show I actually have some knees and I don't want to look like I'm out to 'shred the gnar duuude'.

  • I'm a huge fan of swrve durable cotton. 70 quid so could be considered pricey but does what it says on the tin. The "regular" shorts are pretty baggy mtbish. Trouser shorts show off the knees. Not tried the "cigarette" shorts.

I recently got a pair of the "transverse" shorts but haven't put enough time on them to vouch.

That's a good endorsement. I can see myself spending that kind of money.

  • These look like they might be just the ticket. Im using old Endura single track shorts that coming to the end but I love the two large "map pockets" at the back.

Hows that back pocket on these? Looks smaller but would stuff fall out of it easy?
