Just use Nike/adidas/Decathlon/etc running/gym t-shirts.

Ideally cheaper than both of those, I'll need a few! Starting a new job that involves a lot of cycling but don't want to dress too bikey. Also, no wool or other animal products please!
My suggestion would be bamboo; similar qualities to merino but no animal products. Plenty out there, but you'd struggle with cheap.
