Thanks for the link, that is now for sure the place I'll go when I stay at the east side of the island. Nice Genesis btw 🙌, it's not far from a ti frame I think.

Have one for 4 years now. It's the rim brake version. Can't talk about technical stuff, Im no expert. However, from experience its a very nice ride. I like the details (ti seatclamp) external routing so no real faff if you wanna cable or re-cable. Headset was the same as the Giant ones but I got the Jguillem branded ones. Press fit bb (if that matters to you). Have fit 28mm pro-ones on pacenti sl23 which had plenty of space left, could probably go 30 but haven't tried. Currently on 25c vittoria corsas on hed belguim which again has plenty of space of wider tyres.

Thanks for the positive info on J Guillem, am almost definitely going to pre-order one. They look lovely and that alone is almost enough for me.

The name of the founder of the titanium Van Nicholas bicycles, Jan-Willem Sintnicolaas, is pronounced phonetically in Spain as Guillem .. ;-)

My Merlin extralight, with a new fork, seatpost and saddle. Obviously not as stiff or light as most modern bikes but I'm still impressed at how fast, responsive and comfortable it is despite the fact that the frame is almost 25 years old :)

Might not be as stiff or light, but it looks better than any modern carbon thingy imho. Fantastic bike mate.

Massively agree!

weren't van nicholas bikes previously known as Airborne? They had a popular one called the Zeppelin if memory serves

Thoughts on here on buying a ghisallo? 790g and expert engineering or just not durable enough?

Pure class.

I remember accounts of them being the most flexible frames ever made. Although I'm sure my mid-2000s, sub 1kg Extralight is the second.

Beautiful bike
.......
.....
If you ever consider selling it, please let me know ....

Yeah, this. Every account I've read of the Ghisallo is that it's like, literally, the flexiest frame ever made.

I have two Lynskey bikes that i need to move on.
If anyone is interested please make me a sensible offer. I’d rather they went to decent appreciative homes.
29er xc bike, xt 10 speed, World Cup SID fork, Chris King bearings.
Lynskey commuto-x hope bearings 11spd ultegra hydro discs brakes can include power cranks or swap to ultegra cranks, mudguards and could possibly include the ti tubus rack

Always liked your commuto X. But fear too big for me. What size is it?
Also. I love my Lynskey. But found this crack on the drive side chainstay this morning. Looks terminal.

Noice - seen one or two of these around Glasgow, lovely looking frames - tidy cable routing through the seatstays really caught my eye

Its lovely yeah, got dyno light routing too, mounting points for days, basically anything you want or dont want. Can add wee personal touches to the frame art too, ive stuck a Bob Dylan line that has appeared on bikes of mine for years one way or another.
Very pleased.
Yep, from some place in Port de Pollença. I was considering a titanium bike at the time & never having ridden one before it seemed like a good idea to try one first while on holiday. Didn't end up with a ti one but it did have me looking at their frames for a while!
