The back and forth over the NI protocol continues.
I hope it's all noise and Frost is smart enough to accept the EU concessions on medication, pet passports, quit his whining and sell those concessions as a big win to the "no eye for detail" Brexit types. Be smart, sell it.
But I'm not sure how good his diplomatic skills are.
He might be stupid enough to keep kicking the EU hornets nest...at some point angry lawyer and backdoor diplomatic issues hornets will come out ;)

WTF.
The EU doesn't have to be nice to the UK, GB to mainland EU trade sanctions are an option. And those can be sold of needed, though that's also going to cause an unholy mess.
Seems this is what you get for trusting the Westminster government. Perfidious Albion.

no breakthrough in talks, great...
USA is warning both EU / UK over GFA. Of course, they don't want to be seen to be taking sides publicly.
No worries, the lower USA standards for food still suit them.
While this is nice optics for the USA, part of the reasons we have these problems is, I suspect, the Westminster government pandering to the USA.
Or perhaps it is the EJC oversight. Or both.
FFS in any case.

The Crown Jewels are a decoy. Underneath them is a vat of slowly churning blue liquid...

Load of sh*te: Lol, suggests it was an Irish / NI / somebody living on the Emerald Isle person saying that :D

With Frost the type to drink the liquid, thinking it is drinking water instead of the cleaning fluid for the urinals on a music festival...

hippy will save around £1,220 per year, though, so it's all worth it.

I'm literally eating chocolate ripple cake made with Aussie Chocolate Ripple biscuits now. A little treat for us.
But now these biscuits are gone I won't see another pack for 5 years or more I guess.

Does the £1.22 come from 1p off a bottle of wine or something

A good summary of the whole NI protocol situation.
The new UK trade deals don't have much parliamentary oversight...they just go for them :/
EUSS deadline looming, still no flexible approach from government for most cases, just vague assurances. Yey...
Waiting on my UK citizenship decision, it is taking ages at the moment.

😂
Hope Priti Patel isn't on here ;)
After Brexit the applications started spiking... Bit sad many are in because of distrust of the government.
I wanted to do it years ago before brexit, but wasn't married to a Brit then which meant losing my Dutch citizenship...
Dutch nationality laws are pita.

I hope they sort it out quickly. I had problems getting a driving license renewal online recently, it seems the government systems are melting down a bit.

I think the DVLA is crumbling for sure.
A friend of mine is waiting for his driving license to be returned after having to surrender it due to temporary ill health. Three months and counting...

Worth checking it was actually received. In my case, Royal Mail had my application/envelope kicking about for weeks. Guaranteed next day 1pm… 🙄
Nah - they're made in Poland. We don't even own the dye.
