surely if you hang your Rapha mug off the back of your saddlebag it will get covered in shit from the road?
-
• #36253
(Ahem) you mean "from a butt".
-
• #36254
Seriously underwhelming, it’s just existing snow peak stuff with the Rapha logo, I thought there might be something cycling specific at least

Well @miro_o this turned out to be a slightly misleading review. What you should have added was:
Size small in both - Decathlon are tighter/more-compressive so Dan I know you are carrying a little holiday weight and struggling to shift it so why don't you go for a medium.
Cheers nonetheless.
The Rapha Sonic bibs were fucking awesome but weren't what I needed. Would have kept if I wasn't broke from buying bibs that don't fit

RaphaDecathlon as aspirational (size) item:-0
Sorry. They are very tight.
-
• #36257
I was joking! Swapped them for mediums and they bang, excellent recommendation at even better price point

I bought the Strickland Strata Pro team Jersey (m), cap and socks (xl). I don't want them... about to send them back unless anyone on here wants them for retail... drop me a pm
Its just too small for me 🥺

Some one passed my house the other day in this, it is really nice

• #36260
Its lovely... I an ideal world I'd be happy to swap with someone for a large... thats unlikely to happen mind

I bought a pair of the Decathlon bibs off the back of this suggestion, first ride in them today and they seem great so far! Seemingly great quality for the price. I went for a small (usually either small or medium but they were out of medium in black) and they're spot on for me, tight but in a compression-y way rather than a restrictive or uncomfortable way. They look pretty decent as well.

I want to get my brother a core jersey for his birthday, he's about 190cm and 90ish kg. Should I be looking at a large or XL?
-
• #36263
I’m 1m 83 and 72 kgs and the large fits me perfectly. I’d suggest at least one size up.
-
• #36264
Thanks! I'll go for an XL, he can always return it if he ends up needing a bigger size.
-
• #36265
Yeah I'd say xl if only for the length of it
-
• #36266
Cheers, went for XL in the end!

Any opinions on the Bar Bag–£25 voucher burning a hole in my pocket! Or any recommendations for an indy UK brand with a similar 2l bag out there

Anybody else worn out their cargo bibs like that? Thigh rubbing the saddle worn out the stitching that holds the padding in place. I've bought these roughly a year ago. Keeping in mind that we had -20c winter they didn't see too much of use.
In comparison i've got the good old brevet bibs and even though there's significant rubbing in the same area the stitchings are still holding after 5 years or so.

Funnily enough I have some Brevet tights that I’ve just noticed a very similar issue with. Not as bad as yours, but I’ve probably worn them <20 times and the stitching in those places has ‘vanished’ identically on both sides.
Also similarly, I have other Rapha (and other brands) bibs that must be closer to 500 wears and don’t exhibit the same issue..

Yeah I've had similar with the PT cargo. Get in touch with customer services and they will sort I'm sure.
The new snow peak stuff is kinda cool, but snow peak is a cooler brand than rapha so I'd probably just get the og snow peak stuff
