Much like your Queen asking about how black the baby is, there's an argument to be made that the joke is at the expense of the power in the situation, much of that nuance is lost in a meme though and most of the people sharing it will be doing so from the wrong place and without any awareness.

That's a very pessimistic view; it took me a while to work out an interpretation which somebody might find offensive. Most people are good.

Most people maybe, most people sharing a somewhat debatably edgy meme, not so much, much of the internet is shitty, and the shittier bits do a lot of debatably and less debatably horrible posting.
