EF have raced on the Synapse, I think Specialized’s Diverge has been used at Roubaix before. But not much in the World Tour as the surfaces haven’t require it…yet.
That’s why Trek Segafredo, EF, Canyon/SRAM, Alpecin Fenix, etc, are sending riders to gravel races…to sell those new gravel bikes.
True, and problably good exposure for a cheap investment.
as for those gravelbro races to become something else than a niche american thing, i'm a bit dubious, the format doesn't seem to allow great filming and provide much excitment.
If there's enough money around there'll be a helicopter and some amazing shots similar to Strade Bianchi. Seeing as every man and their dog is now in to gravel cycling, including myself, I think it's just a matter of time
