Trek Segafredo, Movistar, Canyon/SRAM, Rally Cycling, at least, were present. EF podiumed at this event last year and have won others like it.
Gravel is influencing World Tour parcours. Either the World Tour will subsume gravel, or gravel will keep attracting WT riders and teams towards it.
It’s more fun not to turn your nose up at it, that’s what cross is for.

My my. Are world tour domestiques failed road racers now? LTD completed 10 TDFs and ~20 GTs! Should they retire quietly to their bungalows or take punditry/commentary roles so we can slam their banter and wardrobe?
I don’t think gravel racing is going away. Mostly because there are bikes to sell, whereas cross-specific race bikes and track bikes always had a limited market.
