Unbound was won by a retired domestique. I'm not knocking LTD's former acheivements but gravel races are deffo not a pro races and deffo not worthy of this thread.

Okay I’ll put it another way - people who can still be at the sharp end of WT races wouldn’t bother racing against idiot amateur grav-bros.

My my. Are world tour domestiques failed road racers now? LTD completed 10 TDFs and ~20 GTs! Should they retire quietly to their bungalows or take punditry/commentary roles so we can slam their banter and wardrobe?
I don’t think gravel racing is going away. Mostly because there are bikes to sell, whereas cross-specific race bikes and track bikes always had a limited market.
