  • So if I wore them in the summer I would be very unhappy? Crap. Ok cheers all. I know it says Winter right there in the title I am just struggling to get bibs that fit at a reasonable price. Assos, DHB, and Albion don't fit correctly, seems Rapha S are just right but core go see through and everything else is about £80 more than I have to spend

  • For comfort I prefer my Decathlon RC500 bibs to my Rapha Classic bibs.

I think there was something like a £140 difference in price.

Size small in both - Decathlon are tighter/more-compressive.

  • Wow, Decathlon really upper their prices, huh?

  • Well @miro_o this turned out to be a slightly misleading review. What you should have added was:

Size small in both - Decathlon are tighter/more-compressive so Dan I know you are carrying a little holiday weight and struggling to shift it so why don't you go for a medium.

    Cheers nonetheless.

The Rapha Sonic bibs were fucking awesome but weren't what I needed. Would have kept if I wasn't broke from buying bibs that don't fit

  • I bought a pair of the Decathlon bibs off the back of this suggestion, first ride in them today and they seem great so far! Seemingly great quality for the price. I went for a small (usually either small or medium but they were out of medium in black) and they're spot on for me, tight but in a compression-y way rather than a restrictive or uncomfortable way. They look pretty decent as well.
