Mostly in wool, some in canvas.

I got mine from Kafka but yeah can’t see it in stock anywhere now.

Got a cable ami beanie I rate as well.

Fowks were talking about wide brims lately.

Has anyone got recommendations for redying black trousers? My Stan Rays are looking very grey and worn after a single wash (I wear them for work so they get too dirty/dusty to just not wash them).

Fiber Reactive Dyes are your best bet, though home dying is never as colourfast as factory unless it was meant to fade in the first place.
You can try vinegaroon too, but it would likely shorten the life of the cloth.

I've always used a packet of Dylon when dyeing blue denim black, it does fade to grey eventually but just redye when necessary... I actually need to darken up some of my favourite black t-shirts...

Anybody got an idea which summer trouser for hottest days; like my Stone Island from a Kentish Town charity shop around maybe 2005 that ripped last year? Thinner cotton fabric but feel like ~ Rapha Touring shorts. Thank you!

Carhartt WIP Sid shorts... There are two weights, go for the lighter one... I actually prefer the normal weight, even in the middle of summer (I wear the long version as work trousers)... This is the worst photo I could find of them, you're welcome...

Just picked up a pair of second hand orslow fatigues. Light, hard wearing, comfy, good in the heat.

I've got some Zara black linen trousers.

Something with a linen cotton blend is always a good idea.

I bet uniclo sell some sort of smart fabric that works really well. Seems a million years ago, but their cool tech or whatever baselayers under work shirts are amazing in the summer.

Linen is coolest among natural materials, as long as you can handle the wrinkling.

Nanamica do some lightweight technical trousers - alpha dry is the material

I always think slightly baggier relaxed cuts in colours that suit a scruffy look work best.

All good trousers, but I really would like the lightest cotton of the Stone Islands again.
