Looking to rehome a couple of decent sized plants if anyone's looking? Essentially I've recently moved in with my gf and we're combining plants, some have to go and these are the least-favoured. They're not in great shape, but with a bit of love they should thrive again I reckon. Collection from SE23, give me a shout if any interest. The cheese plant isn't available, btw, just the other two. No idea what they're called... The outer pots not included.

The first one looks like a Calathea. And a nice one too! Sadly too far away and too big for me.

The second one is a ficus benjamina!

Not a houseplant any more - just put it out for the summer. I think they're pretty much impossible to overwater or overfeed when they're in growth. All that dampness means you need to be a bit careful not to import slugs when you bring it in for the winter. You can eat the leaves, stems and tubers but you have to cook them all first because of the oxalic acid.

Just about to finish doing up our bathroom, which doesn't get a tonne of light (E/NE facing). Would like to fill it with plants...any recommendations?

Spider plants are often forgotten but are great

I promise you, it is the same plant in both pics. I put it out in the sun for a week... also it’s growing like crazy, it’s got at least a dozen of new leaves growing! 🥰

Cheers - it's far more scraggy in real life but definitely salvageable if anyone fancied it...

Hi - is the calathea still looking for a home? I could pick it up on Sunday maybe?

Picked up a Polyscias in IKEA. Can't remember exactly but less than £30.
Anyone with any experience of growing such a thing?

Bought it from a garden centre last year for some obscene sum (£30 or so).
..saw these at my local shop the other day, crazy expensive here as well 😳

Not sure what this is, but it's really going for broke with the whole flowering thing - pretty impressed with the effort

One of my succulents has gone into Triffid mode. Nothing as impressive as that though.

I have a ficus benjamina that's been looking nice and healthy for a few years and survived two house moves without shedding leaves, but has not been growing in size much at all for a good couple of years - is it time to repot? 🤔

yes
I love mine, been growing non stop and I’ve propagated it successfully twice already. It’s becoming a bit of a beast now!
I also had a Dieffenbachia, though mine didn’t last too long 😬 Probably says more about me than anything though, it shared trough with another two plants that probably had different requirements since those survived.
Got a propagated Pothos cutting from a friend at the weekend, so we’ll see how that settles and grows from there 🤞
