Both secondhand from ebay, separately. A lot of waiting until an 853 Bob Jackson turns up in the right size :) mine's clean because I've hardly ridden it in the last year, more's the pity...

Moved house on the weekend. Ron seems to have settled in to his new home under the stairs, but I had an opportunity for one last pic in the old spare room. Awww!

Yes! Eltham's about the only part of the ride that's new to me, since we only moved two miles down the road from Blackheath to Plumstead. Either on my way to or from Eynsford via Chislehurst.

Oh there are definitely scratches, but on a part of the bar hidden in that photo. There'll be none visible after taping, at least.

Looking strong so far. That pink will illuminate your night rides. Do you have to let the air out of that (28mm?) rear tyre to take out the wheel?

Yeah I do, I'm going to probably get a 25mm to match the front.

That pink is so good, please paint the forks to match.

PS: disregard the clamp marking on the bars, they are way too low (the tip of the brake lever should not be lower than the bottom of the bars).

I think the logo is not a V, but an upside down V. If so, should be Kessels. Famous for making Eddy Merckx' frames before he committed to Italian builders.

Speaking of Merckx, this is fantastic. Must bring a smile to your face all the time while riding it. Like Ndeipi, I also vote tanwalls for the next set of tyres.
