Cool. Have you tried them yet?
I decided eventually to bang a pair of 4000 bait runners on the scopes, which seems perfect with 8lb line. The rods are quite funny, very slim and short handles, like a lure rod, which means the fishable length is only 4ft shorter than my 11ft Drennans.
Quite poker-ish for 2lb tc. But will probably feel different with 20z+ of feeder on the end - I just hope they have enough give not to bump off any Tench I do catch.
At least the short length means I won't keep having to negotiate the overhanging branches every single cast.

I have one Daiwa Whisker SS1600 and will buy another for the 2nd rod.
