I reckon I'll likely go back down to 2.3ish once I've ridden these for a bit. Was chatting about suspension and tyres and bigger volumes of undamped suspension and forks and anyway I should probably get on the turbo now but can't be arsed.

Fat tyres are fun, but yeah, bit hefty for actual racing

I reckon it looks pretty sweet with them on. It deffo looks fun. Will need to upskill a lot. Let's see how much paint is left on it by the time I can ride decently.

I have old as fuck Maguras on the Inbred and I want to replace them but they still work so it'd just be dead money.

This picture makes me feel intense pity for those suspension forks.

It all looks remarkably good considering the level of design by committee that's gone into it.

The MTB purchase is a lot tricker for a few reasons:

1. I haven't ridden an mtb since early 2000s and EVERYTHING changed
   
2. Covid means even if you find your perfect bike, it won't be in stock
   
3. I only start these debates to get my post count up. I'm not even going to ride this bike.
