Ah great, I'll give them a try please. Will PM to send over monies.
My other Loakes are a 9 but slightly snug around the toes. In the event they're not quite right I'll give you a shout @inchpincher? -

Thumbs down for both, for me. But that's just cause the first are meh and I don't have enough swag to pull off the second. They could look good with the right wardrobe.

I had both but preferred the London as the Boston’s always fell off.

Need tassels on the second pair

I like the loafers... never heard of Berwick until now...
Currently really loving these MTO navy CJ Ashdown... might have to buy them...

Got my dad a brown pair of those for his birthday. Lovely shoes

Would probs go for something like this for my summer loaf/slip on

Seem to be same aesthetic as bostons with out the ease of use

I love what Yuk are doing with lugged sole and loafer uppers, but to me those shoes are a bit confused. Those lugged soles are heavy AF (I have a pair on some Yuk's) and I have a pair of those uppers on another pair of Yuk's and they're properly waterproof winter uppers. They're gonna be mad warm for the summer.

If you back yourself with those Berwick's then do it
Those paraboots will be like bars of soap soon enough

I have those Angler Mocs, wear with shorts and no socks on occasion but look good with chinos/jeans/trousers socks/no socks. TBF none of their slip ons (other than bit loafers) are 100% for me but would still rock those above

Yah, the sole on the Angler Moc is slightly different - my favourite sole of all time I must say - and is much lighter than the Vibram Mini Lugged on the Bit Loafs.
I have stopped wearing mine with shorts as I just don't back them with shorts but think I they look good with jeans/cords or even sweatpants for that Timberland look.
I am sorely tempted to order something from this selection after selling my Color 8 Alden Moc Toe's, which have sat in my cupboard for over a year... But I just don't know how much use they'll get versus crocs/Yuketen sandals/New Balance's:

any views on chippewa vice red wings?
Just seen some chippewa moc toes on ebay at a vaguely sensible price. If they are similar to red wings quality I will probably buy them.
They have a vibram sole - I wonder if that is original?

I have a pair of Chippewa plain toe boots I bought with Vibram sole (to replace a pair of RW moc toe) mine are dirty work boots though.
Quality of the older ones is pretty good, leather is not as good as Red Wing, but the construction and stitching etc is fine.
I don’t know about the current ones.

Thanks for the reply - they look pretty solid.
As luck would have it, I just had an offer accepted on some Red Wings so don't need the Chippewa now.

AKA beat to fuck.
The Red Wings were awesome boots, unlined, black, lugged Vibram sole, same shape as the Chippewa ^ but with a moc toe.
It’s a model they don’t seem to make any more.I bought them in 1993, there were 2 places in London that sold them!
I was a protohipster😂

Got my first pair in 1993 as well, in London but can’t remember the shop !
Been wearing these today, I do like the little hiker on the back

I was probably exaggerating about there being 2 shops.
I got mine at Shelley’s on Neal street.
Then probably popped into Interstate to check out the Spiewak
