That needs the proper matching 9000 chainrings to be fully slave imo. Tell him to sort out the saddle angle too

Not feeling these modern bikes at all for this thread. They're just new.... nothing exciting or weird or decidedly second hand about them :/
-
• #9486
Yeah agreed, also there is absolutely nothing HH about that stem.
-
• #9487
Is weird.
I think HH has an element of rad rat to it.
There was a point when modern plastic was fresh.
Now its only the vintage / retro / skate sticker rat look which works imo.

I look forward to seeing some of these Madones and Supersixes ratted up in five years. I think they’ll look sick and fit this thread nicely.

Older carbon usually works better than new - less like a pro / dentist
The passage of time and and some HHSB sensibilities can work wonders:

A Rob English bike in human form.

Not really. No one requested this spec, it just appeared and makes shit music.

To wade in on the what belongs in this thread argument.
Hip Hop is a wide and varied genre, with sub-genre's not to everyone's taste. In my head there's room for all rad and lairy bikes in the HHSRB thread. My breakdown is like this.
Conscious rap - for the connoisseur or aficionado. Very aesthetic builds with classic lines and a gint of bling shining through.
Gangster rap - questionable lyrical content but with a killer beat. Heavy hitting old school builds with components that shouldn't work together but do.
Commercial Hip Hop - radio friendly edits and over the top bling. Modern builds with money thrown at them and crazy paint jobs.
Mumble rap - wtf are they even talking about? Anything like an English build or others that @amey posts.I'm sure there's more examples to think of too.

Hip hop instrumentals: stripped and sanded WW builds reduced to the bare minimum
This is probably the breed standard if bikes were dogs and this were Crufts.
Edit: I’m not posting this as a HHSRB. Just as an example of what I believe to be the ideal chain outline.
