I can't quite remember the specifics of whether it was his bike or not. It was already cracked from his crash though, prior to the 'Hulk Smash'. There's a wonderful picture somewhere of him face first into the wall (crash padding)

The bike belongs to one of the guys from Dosnoventa, they're mates.

Yeah he said it was already cracked from that crash which is why he was carrying it

If you look carefully you can see it was already fucked on the downswing.

I think that should be 'belonged' and 'were once'.

Had a flutter on Bardet today because he was 33/1 for the stage. He wants to be on the podium and knows he’ll lost time on the TT so needs to do something soon.

Bike Exchange doing some damage but I reckon they’re burning through their men too soon #armchairds.

Will anybody be bothered about chasing the break once they’re done?

I was tempted to do the same, I think Bardet could win on these mountains if given the chance but I'm not sure the other GC teams would let him escape.

Not sure if Ineos/Bernal would commit too hard to a chase if he attacks late (inside 3km). Others would but not many can follow on his day.

He’s the best descender of the GC guys but it would be gutsy to do some hung on the descent.

On that note, I was sure I saw some riders doing “puppy paws” on the road sections of the recent mtb xc world cups (I watched the ones with Pidcock in). Was it banned across all disciplines or just on the road?
