I was watching those but didn't have the £
I did end up getting some 6ft 2lb scope snides for packing into a rucksack and doing some very lightweight stuff on the river once the season starts

I probably paid over the odds, but seems if you want any of the 1.75lb scopes you have to. I returned one a few months ago that arrived with a damaged cork handle, it was relisted this week and sold for £60 more than I paid. Crazy. 6ft 2lb seems like a good alternative.
