Dan L was pretty scathing of his attempt to chase Nibbles.

Sounds like a day to tune in for the last 5 minutes of the race and skip the 'highlights'.
-
• #34304
Rightly so. Total chopper move.

If only gravity discriminated too...

What’s with this trend for cyclists DNF, getting ill or crashing on their birthday?
Cavendish today. -
• #34313
Cavendish was a DNF yesterday, not today. He was struggling from the outset, was last on the first stage and second last on the second.

Thanks, so much of a chipper race that cyclingnews report on it the day after....

peloton is punishing the break

I’m hoping for Nizzolo. Feel a bit sorry for him!

• #34317
He's finished!

Nizzolo took so much wind there. Good win!
-
• #34322
I liked that!
-
• #34323
Sprint was so long!
He was in the wind from way back. Not sure his covid bubble is intact now though...
-
• #34324
Love a do or die attack inside the final kilometre like the one Affini just did, so close! But really pleased for Nizzolo, he's earned that after 11 second places in GT stages.

To revive commentary chat, i've said similar about Blythe and Kelly - Blythe seems like good craic and kelly seems to respond well to him. I enjoyed him and Orla asking him about Roche. Kelly is a a (obviously) understated guy who doesn't put his neck to when he doesn't need to but I'd like to see more of him. Like hatch has said a few times Kelly called Bettiol winning Flanders, but on air he's so cagey about calling anything. So it is there.
I like Blythe a lot in commentary, I think he makes everyone better
No mention of Moscon decking it whilst trying to follow Nibali on the descent? I enjoyed it.
