I thought the edelux come with IQ-X internals?
-

The same lux rating. Maybe the same supplier and same LED? That’s where the similarities end.

2nd best (maybe joint 1st?) was the old Supernova (the one with more spread).

I thought B&M produced the optics (LED and reflector?) for the Edeluxes, and SON provided the enclosure (and possibly some of the electronics)? IIRC the Edelux ii used to be based on the Cyo Premium, but (like the Cyo) it's had a number of stealth upgrades over the years; apparently recent ones are as bright as the IQ-X.

Regardless of who take’s credit for the reflector ... it’s not the same. It’s a different size and shape (for example).

Measured where? As above: probably the LED spec. On the road ... nope.
{ disclaimer: the IQ-X was powered by a Son Delux, the Edelux powered by a Son 28 }

Hi,
in search of good advice.I have run before my supernova in the front wired with the e3 tail light.
However, I would like to install a sinewave (or very similar inverter) to keep my stuff powered.
What should be the best way to wire / cable them?Should I run the sinewave cables directly into the hub + running the supernova front cables too into the hub or should I add a splitter somewhere and what type?
I have a rodeo dynamo fork therefore I would like to do a neat job trying to disguise the cables as much as I can.forget to say that the new hub will be a SON.
Ty in advance

I've not got photos but I twisted the sinewave and supernova wires together and popped them into the connector. Sure, it means it's all connected together but I'm lazy so the easiest solution is the best.

Anybody have a rear light knocking about for sale that I could add to my current SP hub + Edelux setup please? Thanks

What kind of mounting are you after Mudguard / Seatpost / Rack?

Have a SON rear light seatpost mount you can have for a few pennies.

Was imagining it going on a seatstay

sounds great!

appreciate the general idea.
what's the name of a 2 to 1 connector for this?
I aim to have 2 pairs of cables coming out from the hub that can then split for the sinewave and the supernova light.
Is there something I can buy at least for the end towards the hub that can solve this? like a two head cable from the dynamo hub connector on where each head has inside the two cable...dont' know if I can explain this any better :P my apologies.. -

For a SON you can use a piggy back spade connector like this:
https://www.spacycles.co.uk/m12b0s208p3116/SCHMIDT-Piggyback-Spade-Connectors-%28pair%29Those go on the Sinewave lead and the headlight plugs in to the piggyback spades (on the right in the photo above).

I am not sure I have understood how to connect these...

Is this the normal IQ-X? Has some gubbins about "T Senso Plus" after the name...
-
• #3798
T = Taglicht = daytime light
Senso = Light sensor
Plus = stand light -

Sounds like the right one to me, shall pull the trigger on that. Just need a rear light. Crying shame that the B&M rear lights are so ugly.

this one is nice looking imo

Yeah I do. I'd need to take it off a bike though. E10
