Not used sys3, only the old ones that clipped at the sides and front, and the first ones with the spinny catch at the front. The newer ones look even better.
Everyone I know who uses festool and the systainer system rates it, but it’s hard to separate honest feedback from the maniacal fandom.
FWIW, I use Bosch L-boxx and find them to be decidedly meh.
And I’m jealous of the systainer with drawers. The festool also seem to stack easier. I’m less confident that the single front catch would survive being massively overloaded like how I overfill my Bosch ones.
