Yep just bringing the heating into the loft in a less convoluted manner. Can see straight down the stud wall so hoping it's just a case of dropping a length down there, popping a bend and joint ok the bottom and then hooking that up to existing pipes in the room but we'll see how that plays out over the bank holiday weekend.

Is the plumbing just for heating?
I pretty much only bury soldered joints - I like to only use compression joints where they’re accessible- I avoid plastic mostly but for fishing through existing structures it is bloody handy.
