  • My (ex) business partner was awful for working late. He would be there at all hours with clients, papers piled up, getting home at 10pm and then having dinner, wouldn't go for a walk during the day, lunch a pack lunch sandwich and a kitkat at his desk, felt that everything would collapse without him there at all times. I will leave it up to you as to whether he was efficiently delegating and/or using his time.

Anyway he had a stroke and hasnt been in for the last year.

I am bad for it as well but we need to make time for health, exercise, relaxation, family. otherwise whats the point?

  • I understand the risks involved but my employer piles on the work. I’ve been put in a difficult position because of redundancies last year where three experienced staff left leaving me as the only one with the necessary experience.
I managed to get a week off now and have been trying to take a break but calls and emails etc still persist and I’m the only one who has the answers (and that’s not an exaggeration). Difficult times for all.
