Re. post #15895, I'm pleased to say I have the bike back.
Someone in East London bought it after it was advertised for £600 on Shpock on Tuesday, before realising it was stolen and contacted me via bikeregister.com.
I gave him half what he paid for it, and we both walk away a little poorer but a little wiser.
I did wonder if I was being scammed initially, but having met him I have every reason to believe he was legitimate, and am thankful for his honesty. There are some good people out there.
