Ah, thanks, Will. Also worth mentioning that the Clissold Leisure Centre was one of the main factors in the financial mismanagement that threw Hackney into chaos in 1999/2000.

There's a road cycling component to this, of course:

I can't find the list of defects that Jonathan Glancey refers to in the first article, but my favourite item in that list was that people could look down into the women's changing room area from the stairs that went up to the gym.

I'm not getting anywhere with the new one. I'm sure I know it but can't place it.
-
• #25504
Luckily, you don't have to, it's already there.
-
• #25505
^ This is not a clue.

I was referring to the giro d'italia connection to Tao. Until that point I thought 'opposite tao' was something to do with Confucianism, way off.
-
• #25507
Ah, didn't get the link.
-

Tagged this ages ago and never used. So could I have used the picture and the follow on with a different bike?
Breaks the rules, as I understand it. Remembering the tag for future use is fine, but the idea is that you bag the old tag and set the new on the same trip or at least on the same day, so a new pic would be needed.

Those rules are stretched when, for example, a new tag is revealed to be a retail and the person responsible submits an alternative, and in practice the BTOB community has "voted" to let exceptions through. But that's the kind of exception that would be voted down, I think.

As long as it’s the same bike and does not look obviously pre tagged (eg rainy picture during a heatwave) I don’t mind.

That leisure centre (I'd forgotten about the Hackney council stuff around that place) is one of the lovleiest swimming pools I've ever swam in.
Was the clue and solution referring to Tao Geogan-Hart's old school?

Are you kidding? There's a link in my explanation. Click on the link Skully, click on the link!
-
• #25513
Now is not the time for asking Skully to engage with modern innovations.
-
• #25514
How about another clue?
-
• #25515
Read my tag post and think of cricket.
-
• #25516
That's helpful
-
• #25517
Not the same bike, oh well.
-
• #25518
If it's a tag I cant't work out then I'm all for relaxing the rules in the hope that the next one is easier!
I'm just surprised that no one realised that Carrie Reichardt's house was a retag. It's so good though that I'm sure no one would mind anyway. -

Well, it seems to have shut Will up, so it can't have been too bad. :)

I'm wondering whether this tag is a ploy to get @middleofnowhere back in the game
-
• #25521
I've given up. Windy must have something to do with it but I'm getting nowhere.
-
• #25522
But it's so easy. All you need to do is turn your bike down the right lane.

The tag is the building on the right of Oliver's photo, if it were the building on the left I could get this tag without leaving my flat.

• #25524
Wow you live that near me.

• #25525
Nope.
