Yeah too little drainage and the roots would rot but your mix sounds much better. We’ve planted a couple in the garden this year and I’m so paranoid with their progress I constantly take photos of their leaves to see if I’m missing early signs. Not helped by us putting them in sunny locations and chalky soil. I mainly bought ours for their autumn colour (the coral should go bright yellow, the other a vivid red) but it’s my first spring with them and they’re transforming daily... these pics are from the last four weeks...
