Is this just the UK government trying to play hardball and just overplaying its hand or is it more something to do with them trying to ruin the UK because of corporate interests?

This is the result of the UK doing to France what it did to Norway- attempting to unilaterally re-write a fishing agreement in the UK’s favour.
Norway said a) fuck you and b) see you in court. The French have responded with a) ou sont votre electricite? b) see you in court.

Is the UK being unfair to French fishers? France claims there is new paperwork not agreed on.
Cutting the power, well, gunboats won't help against that 😁 France likes the drama though I think, I mean, can those two not talk like grown ups...
Meanwhile Norway walked out if fishing as the UK reneged on a "roll over treaty" and wanted a new one with worse conditions for Norway.
Honestly...how and why did they mess up so badly??? But gunboat goes pew pew! I guess.
