• idd it is. Not sure it will improve any handling by removing some grams from the stem but it looks good and is very light. Never had a problem with them either other than they are a bit tight to install (but are meant to be). Have them on 4 bikes now.

  • It's not just the stem. Stem, bars and seat post are all big lumps of metal. Could shed maybe 350g by changing all of them.

  • Yeah thats quite alot in the end. A "lightweight" classic steelbike are awesome riding bikes. Havent put the battaglin on the scale but i imagine around 7.7 or so.
