I’ve got a couple of vinyl mixes in the queue at the moment (97 dark/techy stuff and a 94-96 bukemy one).
After all the neuro drum and bass, I feel for my next project it’s time to go further back in time and do a series of mixes from 93, 94 and 95.
These will be digital ones as I’ve got mixes that feature most of my vinyl from this era that were from my old radio show. Plus looking at my want list from around then suggests I’ll get roughly one record for every five or six (or many more) that I’ve been able to aggressively gather up from 98-00.
I’m going to start assembling some crates in the evenings - if anyone has any requests, let me know and I’ll weave ‘em in.

Last night I went through a pile of records I’d set aside for a mix and discovered this.
I’d recently bought it as something else, but the seller must have been confused listing it or picking it as this is a different record on the same label. Not a problem as I wasn’t particularly fussed about what I thought I was buying, but this is great.
Has the sort of awe/paranoia about the internet that the Japanese Telecom/Arpanet stuff did so well.
Still struggle to get my head around this music being 25-odd years old.

Should be good. I want to go and do a set at Discworld one day.

This looks rather buff. Dillinja and GQ live streaming from the Coliseum. 6pm on Sunday.

Was listening to some records last night and got onto this, which is the second B side to an incredible Trace remix. Anyway, I was glad to spot a movie sample from Platoon.

And in going to Discogs to add a comment about the sample, turns out the Trace tune samples Tekken. There’s nothing I love more than spotting or discovering stuff like this.

This has just been repressed. Wanted it for years but price was always too nuts.

Classic. I especially love the remix. Somehow any even more epic and ratcheting-up intro.
Was looking through records yesterday and really love those labels that will use a different colour logo for each release.

Just came to post this haha. Love when he does shout outs to 'everyone onboard the number 6 metroline' and that.

Grabbed a compilation -https://www.discogs.com/Various-Jungle-Renegades-Vol-2/release/267186 - that I never knew existed before today. I discovered that it is the only place on vinyl where this mix of ‘Sing’ with the rearranged Shine on You Crazy Diamond riff:
Loads of other great tunes on it, including this masterpiece which I was sure I already had, but didn’t.
