Super cool, and looks good in black.
The GBX-100 seems all sold out right now in the UK, but I would be fairly confident that the white and black will come back in stock (it was a G-Shock fan site that reported that the teal option had been discontinued, so I took their word for it and went and sourced one from the US via eBay). If you’re interested, the best thing is probably to sign up for the stock alert on the official site:
https://g-shock.co.uk/gbx-100-1er
Worth noting the GBX-100 is a bit bigger than the classic 5600 shape but it’s manageable I think. The strap is softer than the usual G-Shock fare so it’s pretty comfy.

Just seen there are two new versions that have been released in Japan including an all black model with black IP steel bezel, looks nice:

Ta, all signed up for the stock alert.
Yeah really happy about giving it a refresh, the matt black is definitely a nice change from the Miami Vice vibes of the original glossy white strap.

Nice isn’t it. They do also have the regular black one:

You’d have to allow for import taxes etc. of course.
G-Shocks are addictive, who knew.

Clearing out my Dad’s shed I found my old timex watch that I was given as a birthday present around 40 years ago , not working ( won’t wind).
I’ll get it repaired, new glass and strap.. it’s tiny compared to my Alpina though!

Assuming you mean the GBX-100, it’s a popular new model so you can expect 6-8 new colour variants per year, most of which will have one factory run and then be discontinued… two or three years down the line we’ll get the rainbow IP one. 🙃

Is the crown spinning or locked in place?
If it's stuck, I've found with some cheaper watches just release the mainspring from being over wound and all is good.

I’m going to try one .
Voucher makes it a £600 watch , every CW I’ve had has been a good watch .
They’ve moved the text to below 12 , screw down crown 150m ..
I can always send back , but at 39 mm it may be borderline for me

Thanks . Even at 41mm it's tempting. Other commitments mean I don't have the cash presently, which is a shame....

Looks good, I'm very happy with the Super Compressor I got from them, the new branding is much more balanced now.
Intrigued by the Elite version with the flush crown.

I just checked it - it's working fine as far as I can see. Can you send me a PM with the steps so I can try to recreate what you're doing please?
Edit: otherwise just follow this link https://chronovault.co/assets/new to add a watch
Really like that. I bought the OG G-Lide (GLX-5600, white) about 10 years ago and really hammered it. I took that watch on pretty much every holiday for years and then on a trip to Madagascar the strap got sliced up by some coral (as did most of my arm) after a kitesurfing mishap. It also stained a rusty red, some of that may have been actual rust but mostly from the rich, red soil it got covered in after multiple MTB crashes... it was a painful holiday!
Anyway, I brought it back to life a few weeks ago with a new black bezel and strap, I think I posted it last week but here it is again, old pic as I don't have it with me.
Is the black GBX-100 in stock anywhere in the UK? Initial couple of searches have proved fruitless so hoping someone might have a source as would quite like to add it to the collection, and the tide info is actually quite handy when I kitesurf!
