    The data is a little inconsistent- and certainly wrt severe side effects, we don't have the numbers in the 'right' demographics just yet.
    In terms of mild side effects- anecdotally AZ2 is better received than AZ1, regardless of reaction or no to AZ1. Conversely PB2 is more severe than PB1, in terms of systemic response (ie fever, malaise).

    Again- this is anecdotal, though the CDC, Gov.uk, and other resources seem to show similar themes.

  • Wonder how much is a real reaction and how much is in the head. Were there placebo trials of the vaccines.

    How much of the increased response is caused the increased gap between between PB shots.

  • GIven how ill AZ has made quite a few people I know, I think it's very much non-in head/placebo reaction.
    And there were definitely placebo trials, but I'll leave it to someone medical to answer it better than me.

  • This is some actual data from trials and research. Second dose AZ vaccine isn't included as there isn't enough evidence yet.
