The data is a little inconsistent- and certainly wrt severe side effects, we don't have the numbers in the 'right' demographics just yet.
In terms of mild side effects- anecdotally AZ2 is better received than AZ1, regardless of reaction or no to AZ1. Conversely PB2 is more severe than PB1, in terms of systemic response (ie fever, malaise).
Again- this is anecdotal, though the CDC, Gov.uk, and other resources seem to show similar themes.
GIven how ill AZ has made quite a few people I know, I think it's very much non-in head/placebo reaction.
And there were definitely placebo trials, but I'll leave it to someone medical to answer it better than me.
