Ah ok, wasn't thinking about the opportunist scumbags.

Kona Rove Ltd is a fairly similar set-up but definitely looks more normal.
Maybe it's the lighting used in the Vitus shot? Makes it look very 'flat'.

As Phil says, yes pretty much (genuinely intrigued to know what you thought they were for).
I've never bothered with a second cable though.
When I use one I usually manage to get a D-lock through the frame, wheel and round whatever I'm locking it do in one go, then loop the cable through a wheel and thread one end of it through the other and link the end up to the D-lock.This must be the most commonly derailed thread on the forum.

Just thought that a padlock through each cable would mean three cuts needed to ride off on the whole bike, rather than one as it is now. Sorry for the D-rail. :)

Why u gotta do me like this?

And that the fork isn’t as tapered as most are

I’d hazard a guess that with most tools it would take longer to get through a decent D-lock than 3 little padlocks.
Tbh, it doesn’t really matter. If a thief really wants your bike, they’ll get it. it’s the opportunists you’re best protecting yourself from.
I just try to lock it better than the person next to me.

Nice. Glad to see that you rocking big tyres and enjoying. My hub adapters came today but not had chance to fit, hopefully get a shakedown ride in on Monday.. really not sure what to expect but hopefully good times 😎

Not to d-rail this further, but that d/u-lock could easily fit around the frame, rear wheel and bike rack, then a single cable could be looped to to lock the front wheel. The way shown is a poor locking technique.
Note: I am in South Australia and whenever I lock my bikes up I can usually get away with a mini d-lock around the head tube.

What's your verdict on those Goodyear Connector tyres?

is this instead of the Salsa?

They are a typical gravel tyre. Great in the dry, shite in the wet

Instead of the kona yeah, rode a 29x2.2 drop bar bike a couple of weeks ago and just felt a bit barge like - spotted this frameset and realised I had 80% of the bits so went for it.
Because it got a curved fork that look at odd with the straight steel tubing.
If anything, a carbon fork that skinnier than the seat tube look weird
