Ah, gotcha. Yeah as someone else already said the exception I know of is supernova lights where the rear wouldn't be compatible with the edelux front.
Something to consider is whether it's worth doing a charging setup, or if a battery powerbank would do the trick. That's what I opted for and should be fine for shorter trips.

should be fine for shorter trips.Yeah realistically this year it's going to be weekend/long weekend trips away, so a powerbank is certainly a viable option for the time being (especially given I already have several!).

Aha, okay thanks - that was I was clumsily getting at - the compatibility. I had somewhat assumed the rear lights are nice simple gizmo's that just plug into the front and would be broadly cross-compatible.
And all the cabling looks fairly straightforward to do yourself - any particular tips much appreciated
