For work etc. I still think the Microsoft IntelliMouse range is amazing, even the old versions.
Work great, don't cost much, last forever, and look somewhat normal and not like a spacecraft from a dire future. -
I’ve got an MX master v1 spare as well, recently upgraded to MX master v3.
Can’t tell much difference to be truthful, other than having a better forward/back button for me.

Yeah, but if you sit there using it for 8 hours a day then it’s quickly not so bad.
