I had a bit of a headache and felt a bit out of it the next day, and completely fine the day after. Fingers crossed it won't hit you too hard. I think perceptions of this are skewed by people with severe side effect talking about it more (naturally).

It'll be fine. In my experience, consistent consumption of large quantities of Italian red wine completely prevents any adverse side effects.
