Just something bigger than 8.35 - flat nose and bigger wheels yeh. So i can run trucks looser. moving away from flip tricks a little bit more transition.

Will have a rummage. Not sure flat is going to be doable, I mean everything (that isn’t a repro) has a kicknose and concave these days : )

How long for? I don't have exactly what you're after, but I could lend out my Lush Longboard Dagyr; pool shape (so kick nose) kinda wide with Blood oranges and cruises pretty well.

However! One complete beater board that is ~34” long and 9-10” wide. Deep concave. Indy 169s with soft bushings. 78a NoSkoolz for pavements/tarmac.

Mine is like the Lush board ^ except longer wheelbase and more of a ‘pig’ shape.

okay, it’s in a board bag, in a broom cupboard, somewhere in north London, so I’ll unearth it and get a pic.
However, I did also find parts to make virtually the same board (Skaterbuilt deck, 88a NoSkoolz, but 1st gen Grind Kings).
A street/ditch board is very doable.

I'm also I interested in a regular complete setup and if anyone is selling a kids complete

Got myself first new setup in a long long time.
I'm after a secondhand board for my kid. Either a regular board in a narrow width or some sort of mini cruiser/ wooden penny board / old school something. If anyone is selling something, thanks.

Good read that. I remember Alex Moul turning up at the pioneer club in St Albans one Friday night in around 97/98 and tearing the place up. A lot of us just stopped skating to watch him.

@yetidamo and I came across Alex Moul when we were skating Abingdon Tesco’s car park. He was an absolute ripper as were a fair few others from peachcroft. This must have been 1988.

Sweet! Some people just have it when it comes to skating. I actually didn’t realise he was as big a name in skating as early as he was. He was just one of the big Uk names from when I started skating. If I remember the evening correctly I think John Rattray may have been there too and he also ripped the place up. Both going ten times faster and harder than anyone else.

We skated once with Tom Penny as well.
Everyone was like “wow” that’s Tom Penny...not because he was a famous skater, it was he was the 11 year old son of our Art Teacher.

I moved to near Abingdon a few years ago. The old tarmac BMX track that Alex Moul appeared on in a skate video in the early 90s is still there and is just about skateable if your wheels aren't too small.

I grew up just down the road in Wantage, know the Abingdon track well. Assumed it’d be long gone by now. Rad.

We used to mainly session the “king king jump”. Sean Goff would periodically rock up and we’d do street plants and hand airs

I'm not sure how many of the current jumps are original, it seems to have been altered since the 90s and the Alex Moul speed bump from the Rollersnakes video is no longer there.

There's a transitioned jump which is about 18" high which is good for beginners (or crap skaters like me) to get a feel for quarterpipes.

Any ideas on how to value a collectable deck skatefans?

I've got this Birdhouse x Sum 41 All Killer No Filler deck I've had on my wall since I was a teenager and I was wondering what it would be worth, can't find another one for sale anywhere?

you could try artofskateboarding.com but I don’t know if the pricing guide is up to date or if it’s still active in any meaningful way. The guide on decks is at best variable … I stopped taking it seriously after it claimed a lot of old style hardwood decks from the ‘70s were fake (nope, overstock … fashions changed practically overnight) and a deck that I knew was a modern repro (because I bought one of the three made) was from 1980. Fucking hell, it wasn’t even a good repro.

Thanks for the tips, no joy on artofskateboarding and I've found a group on Facebook so I'll see if that yields results!

It's impossible to find any information on them so there's either about 100,000 of them under beds somewhere or it's gold dust ;)

EDIT: Sold it for c.€200 which seems ok?
