I'm currently freelancing at a large corporation. They use outlook and teams and I have an @largecorp address/login. I'd like to be able to receive emails on my phone so I'm not chained to my desk however when I try to login via outlook for ios I get a message saying that largecorp "admin requires your device to be managed". What kind of data would they be able to collect if I was to allow this?
I've tried a workaround by auto forwarding all incoming email to my personal account, but despite outlook web app saying forwarding is turned on, it doesn't work. I also tried setting up a rule to forward any messages with me in the address/cc line however that doesn't work either.
Are they any other workarounds? I can access email through a browser on my phone, but I'd like to receive notification of new messages, not to have to manually check.
Nope. If I try to add an outlook.com account I get the same "admin requires your device to be managed" message.
If I try to manually add it with IMAP it tells me "Logins are disabled for "Largecorp"
