  • Jeez - I resent paying an extra tenner for a 'bonus disc' of outtakes and live recordings that I'll never play. At least they look nice on the shelf.

  • My vinyl collection is all about acquiring the special editions. I've got Tidal, a FLAC collection and Sonos all around the house so I really have no need for them. I like having rare editions and tracking them down is part of the fun.

All 9 of the LZ super deluxe boxsets (numbered first pressings) will probably set me back around £1k once I've sourced them all in mint / sealed condition. On Discogs, they're worth about £1,400 all in and I guess they'll only go in one direction.

  • I've got a few expensive boxsets but I'm not that into them, they take up too much space and the more handling everything needs the more likely I am to drop the box or the disk or crease the special poster :)

Hard to sell though, they keep getting more valuable.

I have one of these from new, it's a keeper though :-

Also bought the reissue and then someone paid a fortune to ship it back to the states (facepalm)

  • I guess they'll only go in one direction.

Down like a lead zeppelin? :)
