@Señor_Bear on a bit of a budget so will keep my eyes peeled for any 1 inch threaded from those manufacturers I think then go new bearings? or would you go new? And then whatever stem I get, just gotta check if it is 25.4 or 26 before buying bars?

Some quality bikes on this thread.
Crappy photo but here’s my MGOOF(ish) build. Mix of Ultegra 6500 and 10 spd 105 with tiagra shifters (weak point). I need to cut down the steerer and find a longer and less beefy looking stem.

Lovely! Black salsa stem or would you prefer silver?

Here's a full carbon columbus muscle fork at 1 inch steerer. Bit too bulky for me.

I think I’m going to try and stick to silver tbh

Saw this on eBay, nothing fancy but nice and clean. Would be better with no decals on wheels though

Aye no alloy rim and de stickered would be slick.

Shame about the decals on the frame too...
-
• #3388
Yeah this is really nice. I like the alloy rims and even the decals. Very cool.

Supercorsa decals should only be on Supercorsas.
Fake decals are not cool.

• #3390
So everyone's cool with that saddle/bartape combo yah?
-
• #3391
I’m not. It’s a bit too Targa for me.
It’s a tidy build, though. Goodyear tyres are cool.

• #3392
Imagine how cool Pirelli tires would be if they used the correct logo.

That fake Supercorsa is all round terrible. It's a MGOOF Foffa
-
• #3394
That’s fair, must say, I assumed it was a resprayed supercorsa - what gives it away, the seat post clamp?
-
• #3395
me neither. Enlighten me pls.

I'm not an expert on the Supercorsa - but I do have one - and there have been lots of variants over the 40 odd years they've been making it, but for me it looks like the seat tube cluster, the rear dropouts, the BB shell are all wrong.

I like your style...

Could still bea genuine Cinelli, they did more steel frames than the supercorsa of course.
It's a tidy build, not really high end but 105 works fine (just replace the brake pads!)

You said this about the fizik... :P

Yeah exactly, this could be a custom Cinelli Supercorsa that nobody has ever seen before.
I've had a pretty good experience with the miche primato, granted it was on a 2011 version of Veloce, so not super high end, but the shifting was flawless for a good 3-4 thousands of Kms.
on offer at condor for £30, granted it's a 14-25, however.
