FDM or SLA? Figurine people tend to prefer SLA.
Anycybic are outstanding value for both. Look at the Photon.
If you buy any anycubic it'll be easy to assemble and it will work unlike the majority of cheap kits.

The gnome army is partly a joke. Guy I know has a Creality or some such. I just don’t want to buy a machine that wastes more than it makes.
Ideally I’ll make small parts and adapters for the bike. For example the satnav/phone holder for the motorbike.
I’d be sharing it with mum, apparently resin isn’t suitable for her. Filament rather than resin, any difference in smell/nose pollution?
