I haven’t had a chance to listen to the second LP yet. Just each of the albums. They sound great to me. The drums do seem a little subdued when listening to lossless rips of the previous remasters on the same setup but I don’t think it takes away from some excellent pressings.
The quality of the boxed set itself is excellent; the books are very well made and the prints are great quality. Unfortunately it means I’m now trying to locate all the rest. Can’t have an incomplete collection.
I got the vinyl version of LZ III which is available on it's own as a regular catalogue item complete with the original sleeve.
Apparently JP's remastering is not widely loved for the treatment of the drums. It's the best version I have though. Did you find the other CD's and LP interesting?
