I've still not finished my "dream build" bmx after about 10 years. Every spring I tell myself this'll be the year.

Nice, an understated all black bike is a nice change from all the rainbow bikes and parts about atm

Cheap cranks + BB

Had too many bikes stolen lmao can't make them too flashy, prefer a nice black bike anyway, hub sound kind of gives it away though

Need a new front wheel. My forks have 14mm dropouts and most front wheels nowadays seem to have 10mm bolt on axles.
Anyone had experience with these 14mm-10mm adapters?
-
• #887
I've never used adapters/spacers like those but have had lots of success with top hat washers. Are you in London?
-
• #888
I just saw the top hat style washers after posting. I did wonder how those mission ones work.
I’m outside London, can always travel in... if anyone has a front wheel for sale?

Just get the Halo top hat ones. They are a bit dearer but work pretty well.
The bankrupt bicycles seller on eBay sometimes has top hats a bit cheaper but they were out of stock last week when I needed some for my small tall bmx.

I have a 48 hole gusset wheel but will have to check the condition a bit later on when I'm with the wheel. Catch is it'll be collection only, south south London.

Isn’t south-south-London, Brighton?
-

Croydon, as much as snobby Londoners would like to reject it, it feels more like London than a lot of the cunty gentrified areas in London these days (Looking at you Peckham)

Shots fired.
My grandfather and great grandfather were true cockney south Londoners, dad born a bit east but still claims the title... but my grandmother has always claimed she was not born in London and that far south is not London.
Is it £2k/month to rent a room in Peckham now?

I reckon West Croydon is London, not so much East and South Croydon.
Not sure about North Croydon (does it exist?)

North Croydon (does it exist?)
Well my last Croydon address was in Crystal Palace, but I doubt they'll swap the "Upper Norwood" title for North Croydon.
West croydon and East are so close to eachother but yeah, East does feel less like it's in London, maybe something to do with the trams running past 🤷🏽♂️

Rode this.
Its crap.
Designed for ex skateboarders and their children. -

And south is positively Surrey!
Reminds me, I must pop down for that dehumidifier one day! I'll send a PM
-
• #898
Ah yes, that's still in sunny Sydenham.
-
• #899
Ah south south London is abit too far a trek for me! Thanks for the offer though.
I will see if I can find any wheels on Facebook marketplace.

Cheers, I will have a search on google for them.
If only there was a precedent for this kind of behaviour!
