I think Rob Hatch is too used to commentating with Sean Kelly who doesn't say anything until prompted. There was a good few times when Blythe would be talking, something would happen so he'd be like "ooh X has just attacked..." then get immediately talked over by Hatch to repeat that X has indeed just attacked except this time with a dumb accent. It's like Hatch feels he has to mention all the main things that are happening and the other commentator is just there to fill gaps.

Given that they are in separate locations currently, it's no surprise that they sometimes talk over each other. When Hatch is physically with his co-commentator he's very good at setting them up to show their knowledge and experience.

I was wondering about their set up and decided they must have been in the same room because it was relatively seemless. If it was me and the people I go on zoom calls with we'd be talking over each other constantly
