I just think it's a bit of a shame they couldn't get a mustang style bridge onto them (even one of the smaller ones), not that the bridges are any better, I think they're just part of the look.

The american performer version does have a mustang bridge with a jazz pickup though. I've got an itch for one of those, but I think I'd need to lose one or two other basses first. Yours is the vintera?

So they do - must have missed that one, they have so many variations out at the moment!

Yes mine's the Vintera, fancied the JMJ as I (controversially for on here) do like a relic finish but couldn't justify the price difference for something that's not going to be my number one bass. Vintera has very similar specs (lollypop tuners, 41mm nut, alder body) for a chunk less. Pick-up sounds decent enough for me, though maybe one day I'll replace it for something else.
