Thanks - they're pretty fun to play! I'll probably use it as is for now but when the strings go off, swap them for flats for a bit more thump. The PJ's look good, I just think it's a bit of a shame they couldn't get a mustang style bridge onto them (even one of the smaller ones), not that the bridges are any better, I think they're just part of the look.
Kind of custom; I'm not sure if they're still going but at the time when you ordered you just picked your covering & grill cloth then they made it for you, it wasn't a special order or anything. If you wanted plain black with standard grill it would have been the same process. They're awesome cabs though; they do the mellow/vintage sound really well but then I've also gigged them in metal/hardcore bands too & they sound really aggressive when driven.

The american performer version does have a mustang bridge with a jazz pickup though. I've got an itch for one of those, but I think I'd need to lose one or two other basses first. Yours is the vintera?
Looks good, I’ve been idly bass shopping for a while and Mustangs have been on the list to consider, especially the PJ variants, they seem to sound thumping.
Nice amp & cab too, I love the colour of the TKS, was it a custom job?
