A bit of a temporary/parts bin build up, the weather is nice and I had a bit of spare time.
I enjoy how it rides, feels much more nimble and light than the weight indicates.

So I can confirm that the 29.0 post absolutely does not fit in my V1.

But I made a shim out a old stainless candle tin and my Dremel.

I got a thomson 29.8 for 60 if interested. If that shim works well you likely wouldn’t need a new post but offer stands

@haveo Nice build, 29,8 silver Thomson do exist, but they are very hard to source, took me years to find one..

V4 owners: Is there a definitive answer on max tire clearance? 38c possible?

hey, considering to stretch my v1 launchpad to 135mm and have disc mounts added. any recommendations/tips on this? has winston vaz been doing these? thanks.

@PhilDAS added a mount on my fork he might be able to assist you and done a fantastic job on my fork.

These bars have popped up on eBay, but I don’t fancy coughing up £250 for a pair of handlebars - I have other shit to pay for these days. Anyone else interested in a group buy?

What would the consensus be on clamp size, width, rise etc?

Two options only either os or the standard 25.4

They don't look like the top part tapers and given the way all the other mitres meet each other, are they 22.2mm throughout?

Would make sense, cut down / spare BMX handlebar tubes?

Big long bits of plain gauge 22.2 are cheap enough to just make it from new metal.

How much would group buys be?

Depends how many people sign up for them

Pretty sure mine were 25.4mm clamp section...But they were the 4" rise version.
