Have you both seen this? Modding à kettle looks pretty straight forward from this vid.

Cheers. I think I may keep an eye out for a second-hand one. Not sure if I barbecue enough to justify full price (although I may barbecue more if I had one ...)

That's the one I saw. You can see in that how the Billows is almost pointing upward, but I'm wondering now if a drip pan on the charcoal grate will be enough to deflect the air across to the coals.

My Master Touch is about 5 years old now, so I'm not too worried about drilling a hole or two in it. I'll take another look but I hadn't spotted anything more than that.
